“Disasters happen and when they do, tell your insurance provider you need Chavez”
Since mold spores are ubiquitous to the environment, we live with mold daily; the spores are in the air we breathe both indoors and outdoors. Mold problems can develop as a result of sudden water incidents like a pipe breaks, washer hose failures, foundation leaks, etc.; these water problems can transition into mold problems fairly quickly as a result of slow or inefficient drying. Other typical mold problems develop over a longer period from slow plumbing leaks, roof leaks, windows failure, etc. Regardless of how it happens, moisture remains the trigger for mold growth and development.
True remediation is not about using bleach to “kill the mold”, nor is it about painting to cover or seal it up. Environmental concerns begin with the indoor air quality of your home, and with how elevated the mold spores are within the dwelling. Neither of those classic “do-it-yourself” remedies addresses the indoor air quality of the air you breathe.
We recommend utilizing an independent third party, environmental professional for testing to verify that you have a problem, and again to confirm a “final clearance” after remediation. Using an independent third party avoids a “conflict of interest,” inherent with mold remediation.
You can be confident that our training, experience and specialized equipment will return your home or business to a safe and healthy environment. We will work with your Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP) until post-remediation has verified the wholesomeness of your indoor environment.
